ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES

Durante & Vivan has decided to act responsibly protecting its workers' interests and respecting the environment in which it acts.
In order to achieve this, Durante & Vivan has implemented a System of Environmental Management in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 regulation and commits itself to maintain it.

Moreover, Durante & Vivan spa has shown its commitment through suitable communication forms by which its environmental politics is made available to the public.

Durante & Vivan has committed itself in guaranteeing:

• The respect of the applicable rules concerning environment and signed environmental regulations.
• Prevention of pollution.
• Its constant improvement in order to reduce the environmental impact to a level of application economically feasible in accordance with the best available technology.
• Involvement of all personnel by means of training and awareness of environmental issues, on the hygienical aspects and safety of the working place, in order to increase the efficiency of the defined improvement actions.
• A strong awareness towards suppliers and, where possible, preference for those suppliers that have an attitude of respect of the environment in order to have an influence as much as possible on the environmental aspects connected to the company activity.
• Implementation of annual plans of environmental improvement through definition of goals and aims which lead to the optimization of the environmental performance of the company.
• The constant follow up of the status of the actions foreseen to reach the aims.
• Periodic reviews of the System of Environmental Management in order to verify its conformity with the Environmental Politics and with the management procedures and the achievement of the environmental aims.
